Department: Sales & Strategic Development
Discovery Science Foundation is looking for an Associate in our Sales & Strategic Development department.
The position will focus on developing partnerships with municipal agencies, regional non-profits and the business community to benefit the Foundation, the two Cube locations, and our overall mission. This is an exciting position requiring a highly motivated, self-driven and goal-oriented individual with exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability to research new subject matter quickly and effectively, both through electronic media and through existing relationships. An ability to exercise good judgment in pursuing organizational goals is also important. Finally, candidates should demonstrate a highly developed sense of proactive, results-oriented responsibility (accountability for achieving end results), as opposed to task-oriented responsibility (accountability for having performed a required task).
