Field Trips to the Science Center

Investigate some of the principles involved in motion, fluid dynamics, and waves. Students experiment with the mechanical advantage of pulleys, Bernoulli’s effect, rotational momentum, and force versus mass.


Science of Hockey:

This exhibit is ideal for high school students! Experience the colder side of science as we explore physics, physiology and flying pucks. No helmets required, but the icy interactives aren't for rookies! Exhibition highlights include a Zamboni Machine, Penalty Box and Broadcast Booth,and more!

  • One adult per fifteen students required
  • Includes grade-specific activities
  • Live science demonstration
  • Free "come again" passes for students
  • Must reserve field trips in advance

Future Scientists and Engineers of America

FSEA is a national after-school program that aligns with the State Science Content Standards. Programs may be purchased online and include all supplies for up to 20 students for 10 one-hour programs. It's fun, engaging, and involves real-world application projects that help relate the importance of education to really sweet future career possibilities.
