Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2008 - Planetarium Starlab Starlab, our portable planetarium, is designed to surround your students with the universe. Science, literature, and history are integrated into the daytime study of nighttime stars.
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2008 - Bubbles! Join our bubbleologist as we explore what makes bubbles work. Investigate the properties of bubbles, from their colors and shapes to what keeps them from popping... or what makes them pop!
Thursday, Sept. 17, 2008 - Forces & Motion Students use ramps, balls, measuring tapes, and a variety of materials with which to experiment. The concepts of forces, motion, inertia, and gravity are taught during this hands-on lesson.
Friday, Sept. 18, 2008 - Owls are a Hoot! Students will explore the nocturnal owl, including a close-up look at their feathers and feet. Other activities include taking apart owl pellets and identifying bones to learn what owls eat. | Third - Fifth Grade: 11:30am Each Day

Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2008 - Electric Circuits Study electrical circuit. Design and build other circuits using components such as wires, batteries, bulbs, and speakers.
Thursday, Sept. 17, 2008 - Chemistry of Polymers Increase your understanding of polymers by dissecting a disposable diaper, making latex balls, and concocting slime.
Friday, Sept. 18, 2008 - Pig Heart Dissection Conduct a heart dissection guided by trained Science Center staff. Students will compare the pig heart to the human heart while mapping the chambers of the heart and tracing the blood’s pathway through the circulatory system.
