Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination
Imagine a world with humanoid robots translating languages, landspeeders whizzing down the highway, and X-wing Starfighters protecting the skies. Could these technologies, limited only to the fantasy worlds of Star Wars™, actually become a reality?
Find out as Discovery Science Center hosts an out-of-this-world exhibit, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination, presented by Bose Corporation.
- Build and test your own speeders and robots
- See real artifacts from all six Star Wars films
- Explore the technology of droids and landspeeders
- And much more!
Dora and Diego: Let's Explore!

It’s time for adventure when preschoolers and their families come to explore our newest exhibit now through May 6.
Dora and Diego—Let’s Explore! takes visitors on an active adventure in the enchanting world of Dora the Explorer, her animal-rescuing cousin Diego, and their friends. Explore Isa’s Flowery Garden, help Tico gather nuts, join the Pirate Piggies crew to uncover pirate treasure, and help baby animals in the Rainforest Maze.
5th Grade Month
Discovery Science Center offers extended field trips for 5th graders in the month of February with special hands-on activities and demonstrations specifically tailored for them.
During the month of February, students will have the opportunity to use the Dino Quest transmitters themselves as they investigate the world of dinos, including their body systems, as seen in the giant Argentinosaurus.
