Free Military Admission
Discovery Science Center is proud to honor the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. military, both past and present, with FREE general admission! The FREE general admission offer applies to all U.S. veterans and active military personnel and their spouse (or one adult guest).* Plus, purchase up to six additional adult or child tickets for just $12 each!
*Veteran or active military personnel must be present to receive free admission along with one free adult guest with proper ID presented at ticket booth (DD214, Veterans Administration Hospital ID or Active Military Service ID). Spouses of deployed active military will receive one free adult admission with proof of Activity Military Spouse ID Card and a copy of deployment orders.
Free Educators' Workshop
Join us on first Monday of every month (October to May) as we host a free Educators’ Workshop from 4pm to 6pm.
Each educational event includes a hands-on science workshop including standard-based concepts and exploratory visits to the Center’s exhibits related to those topics.
Each workshop will address a variety of concepts and their applications across all grade levels with added emphasis on avoiding misconceptions.
