Bugs and insects of all shapes and sizes are creeping their way in, on and around Discovery Science Center starting Saturday, October 1! Try not to stare at the floor though, as horned beetles, a walking stick bug, praying mantis and deadly locust will tower over you at 1,000 times their actual size. Plus, embark on a Spooky Science Scavenger Hunt and experience the Science Center like never before!

Venture through creepy rooms and eerie exhibit space while studying the giant animatronic bugs. Then, check out the bug kiosk featuring real centipedes, millipedes, Madagascar cockroaches and more, along with a world renowned pinned specimen collection from the Natural History Museum, Los Angeles.

• All Day: Venture through a Spooky Science 4-D maze
• All Day: Embark on an interactive Bug Invasion scavenger hunt
• 11:30AM – 3:00PM: Dr. Sue’s Traveling Insect Zoo*
  Stare into the powerful jaws of a praying mantis, pet a tarantula and discover glowing scorpions with Dr. Sue.
• 12:00PM &  1:00PM: Thor’s “Live” Reptile Stage Show*
  Get up close and personal with a Yellow Monitor Lizard, feel the weight of a Boa Constrictor and touch the skin of a Rhinoceros Iguana in Thor’s Live Reptile Show.
•  2:30PM: Spider Mash Dance and Costume Parade
