Stacy Molter: Curious George: Let’s Get Curious Debuts at Discovery Cube LA
The NEW Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious! exhibit has debuted at Discovery Cube LA, Southern California’s hands-on science center that inspires and educates kids as they play.
The new Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious! exhibit at Discovery Cube LA leads kids on a fun, educational, and interactive math, science, and engineering-based adventure with their favorite childhood monkey and his friend, The Man with the Yellow Hat.
Children will have the opportunity to explore a variety of places within George’s neighborhood including: The Apartment Building; Sidewalk Produce Stand; City Park; Mini Golf; The Construction Site; Rocket Ship; and The Farm.
Each place within the Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious! exhibit features the same fun, colorful characters kids will recognize from the classic Curious George™ stories. Kids of all ages will love exploring George’s neighborhood and learning more about George’s day-to-day life.
On select days, you can also participate in meet & greet with Curious George. George can be found near the exhibit every Saturday in October, November, and December, as well as every day from December 19th – January 3rd!
Check out some of our favorite moments from the exhibit below. You can even make a trip out of your visit by exploring the Hansen Dam Recreational area and the other exhibits Discovery Cube LA has to offer.
Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious! is open now through January 3rd, 2016.

Here’s what you will find inside the Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious!
The Apartment Building is a place where kids can experiment with wheels and pulleys to move George from window to window. They will also learn the science behind color, light, and shadow as you climb in and out of the building.
At the Sidewalk Produce Stand kids can play the part of customer or salesperson to explore shapes, sorting, weighing, and counting with fruits and vegetables!
For the youngest visitors, visit the City Park to take pictures with a full-size George! Here Discovery Cube’s youngest visitors can also enjoy a wall of activities just for babies and toddlers.
Kids will love conducting physics and engineering experiments using pipes, ramps, funnels, turntables, bumpers, and force to putt through three holes of mini golf.
At The Construction Site kids can climb into the construction trailer to design a building! Here you can use a bounty of building materials, and machines, to construct different structures.
Go on a Space adventure when you climb into the rocket George took on his famous space adventure! Here, kids can find George in his space suit and take pictures from the control station!
Take a vacation out to the country to visit the farm, where kids will experience cause and effect, using wind power to move yard art like whirligigs, windmills, windsocks, and wind chimes.
