Prepare your camper

To cancel your camp registration, please call our Guest Service desk at 714-913-5040 or email gpatafio@discoverycube.org. To receive a full refund, please cancel at least 3 weeks before your first day of camp. Cancellations within 3 weeks of first day will be charged a $40 cancellation fee.

Rest assured that all safety precautions are taking place to make sure your camper has a safe and fun time at camp.  At drop-off, you will be asked to verify that your camper has not experienced any of the following in the last 24 hours:

  • Fever of 100.4 F (38 C) or higher
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Been in contact with anyone who has exhibited these symptoms
  • Been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19

If you answer “YES” to any of the above, your child may not attend camp.

During the camp day, we will require masks to be worn (except when eating or drinking), practice social distancing with a space of three feet between campers, periodically disinfect workspaces, and have hand sanitizer readily available (and encouraged!) at all times.

Please prepare your child for their day at camp by packing them a water bottle, a healthy lunch, and 1-2 snacks packed separately from their lunch.

Unfortunately, we don’t allow campers to purchase lunch at Discovery Cube. This is for your child’s safety.

Please make sure your child is wearing clothing that can (and is likely to) get dirty, comfortable close-toed shoes, and a comfortable face mask. We will provide your campers with a camp shirt on their first day. We suggest they wear their camp shirt throughout the week, but this is optional.

Drop-off is from 8:55am – 9:05am*. If you will be dropping off your child late, please call (OC: 714-542-2823, LA: 818-686-2823) or email to let us know you will be late.

*Monday drop-offs may take longer, as we need to verify pick-up information for the week. Please be patient as we prepare all campers and their families for a wonderful camp experience.

Pick-up is promptly at 4pm*. If you need to pick up your camper earlier than 3:45pm, please let us know at drop-off or call or email us to let us know what time you will need to pick up your child. If you arrive for pick-up in between 3:45pm and 4pm, you will need to wait until 4pm to pick up your child.

*All adults will be asked to show a photo ID to pick up a camper, even if you are the same adult that dropped them off.
