🎭 Shadow Puppet Hero Signals: Learn how to send secret signals to call for help! Experiment with shadow puppetry and discover how changing the distance from the light source can alter the size and clarity of your hero signal. Create your own unique hero signal and team up with experts from the Puppetry Guild to bring your shadowy adventures to life.
👗 Costume Creations: Ever wondered how superheroes get their iconic looks? Step into the world of costume design and learn from a professional how costumes are created for the big screen. Then, unleash your creativity by designing and crafting your own superhero mask to wear during the weekend’s adventures.
🖍️ Draw a DC Hero: Get inspired by the legendary characters of the DC Universe! Participate in drawing demos led by a visiting artist and learn how to sketch heroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. You can follow along or design and draw your original superhero, complete with unique powers and a heroic backstory.
🧪 Superhero Science Lab: Dive into the science behind your favorite superhero powers! Hands-on STEM activities will help you explore the mechanics of flight, test the limits of super strength, experiment with laser vision, and even create your force fields. Experiment with shadow puppetry to create sinister signals that only the most cunning villains can use. 👗 Costume Creations: Villain Edition: Villains need great costumes too! Learn the secrets behind creating the menacing looks of famous movie villains. Then, design and make your own villain mask, perfect for plotting your next evil scheme.
