What days are available for birthday parties?

Options in LOS ANGELES: Saturday or Sunday at 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM, or 3:00 PM. Options in ORANGE COUNTY: Saturday or Sunday at 10:30am or 1:30pm. Ultimate Parties are available selected Saturdays from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

How long are the private room rentals for?

LOS ANGELES room rental: 2 (two) hours and an additional 15 minutes for setting up. ORANGE COUNTY room rental: 2 (two) hours and an additional 30 minutes for setting up.

Does Discovery Cube provide a birthday cake?

We do not provide a birthday cake; however, we can store your birthday cake for up to 24 hours prior to your birthday party time.

Can I bring outside food and beverages for a birthday party?

Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. At Discovery Cube Los Angeles , you may bring outside food and beverages. The items must remain in the birthday party room at all times. At Discovery Cube Orange County , Classic and Deluxe Parties are not permitted to bring outside food or beverages in. Catering is offered for an additional price by our healthy and delicious on-site Bean Sprouts Cafe. Ultimate Parties are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as order catering from Bean Sprouts, our onsite café.

How many guests can attend my birthday party?

Each location and party level has its own capacity limitations, please refer to the appropriate location and level of party of capacity and pricing information.

As a Discovery Cube Member, do I have to pay if I am a guest at the birthday party?

ORANGE COUNTY: Yes, free membership admission does not apply to birthday parties.

Is admission into Discovery Cube also included in the birthday party experience?

Yes, every birthday party guest is granted entry to the Discovery Cube for that day. The party host must provide a guest list at least 24 hours prior to the party.

Who is responsible for the children?

Parents/Legal guardians are always responsible for their children.

Am I able to order catering delivery to Discovery Cube?

At Discovery Cube Los Angeles , you may order catering delivery however you must be onsite to receive it. Third party vendors are not allowed onsite. At Discovery Cube Orange County , outside catering is not permitted for Classic or Deluxe Party packages, however you can place food and beverage orders for an additional price with Bean Sprouts Cafe.

Can I arrive early to set up the birthday room?

At Discovery Cube Los Angeles, you will have up to 15 minutes of setup time before the booked time slot. At Discovery Cube Orange County, you will have up to 30 minutes of setup time before the booked time slot.

Can I bring goodie bags and balloons?

Yes, however, these items must always remain in the birthday party room. Decorations are welcome, however helium-filled balloons are not permitted (balloons filled with air are allowed).

Is there a fee for parking?

At Discovery Los Angeles , on-site parking is completely free for you and your guests. At Discovery Cube Orange County, there is a $8 parking fee for each vehicle.
