All middle and high school students are invited to join us for a high-energy, hands-on workshop where you’ll turn your idea into a real app concept—and get it ready for the 2026 Congressional App Challenge.

About the Congressional App Challenge:

The Congressional App Challenge is the official student STEM competition of the U.S. House of Representatives. It’s an annual nationwide competition hosted by Members of Congress designed to inspire middle and high school students to explore STEM fields. In the nine years of the Congressional App Challenge, the program has inspired over 70,000 App Challengers across all 50 states. Thousands of functional apps have been created for Congress, and participant demographics surpass all industry diversity metrics.
