Create Now’s Power of The Arts Festival

Discovery Cube Los Angeles and the non-profit Create Now are collaborating to bring you the annual Power of the Arts Festival! Our diverse programming and activities aim to inspire, educate, and empower individuals of all ages to explore the intersection of art and science.

Event Time:

The Power of the Arts Festival will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m., while Discovery Cube Los Angeles will remain open until 5:00 p.m.

What to Expect:

  • Interactive Exhibits: Immerse yourself in hands-on exhibits that showcase the connection between art and science. Check out our Cube Studios, an interactive news studio where kids tell stories from their point of view. Explore the endless possibilities of creative expression; this and many more exhibits await you in a fun-filled day of science, arts, and exploration!
  • Live Performances: Experience the magic of live performances featuring talented artists from various disciplines, including music, dance, theater, and more. Be captivated by their creativity and passion for the arts.
  • Workshops and Demonstrations: Engage your mind and unleash your creativity through interactive workshops and demonstrations led by experienced artists and educators. Learn new skills, experiment with different techniques, and unleash your inner artist.
  • Family-Friendly Fun: Bring the whole family and enjoy a weekend of fun-filled activities designed for all ages. From collaborative art projects to storytelling sessions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

About Create Now:

Create Now was founded in 1996 by Jill Gurr and was initially named Write Now! In 1998, the name was changed to Create Now to include all forms of creativity, such as music, dance, culinary arts, and fashion. Discovery Cube Los Angeles is honored to Partner with Create Now and its CEO, Brandon Dean Johnson, to bring great arts programming to the Science Center.
