⚽ July 18 – 19: Kick it Up! Connecting to the World Cup Soccer games being played here in Los Angeles, we will use soccer activities that focus on the scientific concepts of force, motion, and trajectory to make connections with how animals employ the same concepts and movements to evade predators, track prey, and communicate with each other.
🦇 August 29 and 30: The World of Bats! Celebrate International Bat Night (on August 29) by learning more about these incredible creatures. Play a game with us to understand how bats use echolocation to navigate and locate prey, then try to match bats to their type of food (carnivores, insectivores, frugivores).
