Our programs empower young minds by teaching them how to sort their trash and compost effectively, emphasizing how these actions contribute to a healthier environment. Through engaging field trips and assemblies, we provide grade-specific lessons aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), ensuring each student understands the importance of waste management. Qualifying Schools
*Bus stipends are up to $750 per bus, maximum 5 buses based on available funds. Booking a reservation does not guarantee your school qualifies for a free program, once your school’s eligibility has been confirmed, Discovery Cube will follow up with additional communication. All participants in the Field Trips listed above must participate in the full program. The programs listed above are sponsored by LA City Sanitation; other paid Discovery Cube programs are not eligible.
